Super delicious food, also vegetarian, cozy atmosphere and very nice staff!

Great food, super friendly service. The schnitzel are some of the best I've ever eaten, as are the fried potatoes that go with them. At the end there was an apricot schnapps, also unique!

This evening was the first time at the successor, were pleasantly surprised. A great range of delicious dishes a real asset compared to before. We were on the upper terrace and felt very comfortable, especially compliments to the attentive waitress Biggi. We'll be back and will recommend the Kastanienhof to others.

Great quality, unfortunately the side dishes are a little too few. There is no side salad, you have to order separately.

Restaurant: A new discovery for us. Very friendly service and afterwards very tasty, down-to-earth food in top quality - and above all at fair prices. We will be back!! Addendum: We were there again this week - the rump steak is awesome! The menu says "at least 350 gr". That was a lot more. And perfectly prepared.

Top location in the nice and tranquil Niederjosbach. Something for everyone and very cozy. Highly Recommended. We would love to come back.

Very, very tasty. This was my 2nd time here. The sausage salad with fried potatoes was to kneel down. Price / performance is ok. I can warmly recommend the Kastanienhof.

Very nice beer garden. The service was quick and very nice, nothing to complain about. Food came quickly and was delicious. No overnight stay, so no comment on rooms.

Mediocre food, boiled beef very dry, food cannot have been freshly cooked because our three meat dishes were there within a few minutes, even before the drinks, the salad dressing was too sour, the waitress only came after the fifth time to wave we could pay, everything else cleanliness, friendliness and locality with play facilities are perfect

This was one of our favorite restaurants in the area. It has an indoor and outdoor playground. The food and service are great. We absolutely love this little place and the staff!

Gave me pickled herring even though the sauce was already sour and even knew it. But you can cheer it on the guest first ... but 2 years ago, not afterwards, although it was good before.

The Kastanienhof in Niederjosbach is certainly not a village pub, but a restaurant with regional specialties. The selection of dishes is very appealing and always complemented by seasonal dishes of the day. Even standard dishes have a special touch here. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is a nice playroom for children and a wonderful beer garden with shade-giving chestnuts in summer.

We sat on a sunny day in the beer garden today, here it is super. There are shady and sunny places, as well as very delicious food and a homemade cider which is really good. Handkästatar I can highly recommend, with the cider a nice Hessian restaurant visit! The staff is very friendly and hard-working, you also get your drinks, as well as the food. Well structured processes! Thumbs up, keep it up! We will be back.

Very good kitchen. Nice patio. Parking is for free. Friendly staff. A nice restaurant in a tiny village in Taunus.

Great authentic German restaurant. Wide beer selection. Great food. Friendly staff. Parking can be found (about 400 ft away). Eppstein is a bit off the beaten track, I will admit. Beer garden would be great in the summer period. Recommend the cordon bleu.
